    Product Sales Analyst – Job Description

     

     POSITION SUMMARY

    Provides day to day account interaction and order processing services for the customer, and monitors customer problems to ensure that they are handled as efficiently and effectively as possible.

    LEVEL OVERVIEW

    Works on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgement and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel. Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides pre-sale support including product research, pricing, configuration information, peripheral information, and pre-qualification of accounts. Quotes prices on company products and services and may assist in proposals.
    • Performs maintenance of assigned accounts, processes Purchase Orders, order entry, order tracking, image set up and coordination of returns. Ensures all paperwork is complete and accurate.
    • Reviews customer requests and determines product availability. Suggests solutions to customer requests and communicates discontinued products and available substitutions.
    • Communicates pertinent activities to the Account Executive, including quotes, orders and open issues.
    • Works with other departments and vendors to ensure a smooth flow of products and services to the customer.
    • Assists with providing Standard Reporting upon request utilizing Client Portal and Microstrategy
    • Offers cross-sell/upsell opportunities to clients when opportunities are available.
    • Represents CompuCom in a professional and businesslike manner and communicates effectively with CompuCom clients and associates.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    The Analyst Level should have 2 or more years of related product support experience. Industry experience preferred. Strong knowledge of PC hardware and software required. Excellent administrative, organizational and communication skills. Must be customer satisfaction oriented. An Associate’s degree is preferred.
