What You’ll Do


You will be responsible for a project management organization dedicated to a specific client.  This is a client-facing role that liaises with executive stakeholders in CompuCom and the customer.  This position is ultimately responsible for advancing the client’s strategic goals.  This role, while responsible for the day to day oversight of the various project managers, must have a keen focus on the operational nature of the client’s requirements and the associated processes and outcomes.  Adherence to established inputs and outcomes is paramount to the success of the numerous projects and their interconnect, and ultimately the success of our relationship with the customer.




You will be responsible for:

  • Oversight: Managing multiple projects – multiple project managers throughout the projects’ life cycle.  Managing 40-50 mil in projects
  • Defining the project governance (controls) and managing the main documentation
  • Planning the overall project and monitoring the progress
  • Managing the project’s budget
  • Proactively managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
  • Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies
  • Managing and utilizing resources across projects
  • Managing stakeholders’ communication
  • Aligning the deliverables to the program’s outcome with the aid of the Account Manager and Service Delivery leadership
  • Ensuring that best practices and standard methodologies are used and result in successful outcomes
  • Driving continuous improvement


We are looking for someone with the following:



  • 5+ years practical project management to include
    • managing large, complex projects
    • managing project teams
    • problem management
    • budget management
    • customer-facing role



  • BA/BS in Business Administration or related field
  • Any combination of PMP, Six Sigma, Lean or ITIL certifications, or an equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Advanced organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to work positively with a wide range of individuals involved in project management
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
